Rail freight transportation offers one of the best values for the dollar. A railcar can transport the volume of 3 or 4 trucks, and our fuel efficiency is one of the reasons why rail is so economical. A train can move a ton of freight about 400 miles on a single gallon of diesel fuel.

We interchange daily with the Union Pacific and BNSF, providing access to an enormous network of mainline and branch line track. The UP has 33,000 miles of track serving 22 states, and the BNSF has over 40,000 miles of track serving 28 states.
