Union Pacific crews repair train car near Burbank

Railroad crews work Tuesday morning on a damaged tanker car on the Union Pacific line off Monument Drive about one mile west of Highway 124 outside of Burbank. The 126-car train was headed to the Hinkle Yard in Hermiston and stopped due to an overheated wheel bearing on a car containing molten sulfur. Francisco Castillo, Union Pacific Railroad director of corporate relations and media, said there were no injuries and no product was released. Four trains were delayed as the work was completed. The track reopened at around 12:30 p.m.
