Chatham, New Jersey (September 18, 2015) – Preferred Freezer Services (PFS), a global leader in advanced design and engineered temperature-controlled warehouses, celebrates the opening of their newest facility in Lynden, Washington. The facility marks the company’s second location in Washington state and 35th in the U.S.
Construction of the new facility broke ground in late March 2015. Its completion adds 11 million cubic feet of cold storage capacity to the continually expanding footprint. The facility opens just in time for the local agricultural community’s harvest season.
Time was of the essence during construction. Preferred Freezer Services EVP of Business Development Todd Klumok praised “the city of Lynden, Victory Construction, and all of the local sub-contractors for completing the facility on an extremely tight timeline.” Klumok added that he speaks for all of PFS when he notes that he is “very excited to be a part of the local community that has welcomed us with open arms.”
