107 foster kids will receive donated gifts

Tri-City Railroad was proud to participate in donating gifts with the Hanford Atomic Metal Trades Council this holiday season.

Story from Kvew TV:

A truckload of gifts are being prepared for foster kids today.

Hanford Atomic Metal Trades Council (HAMTC) members, the Hanford community, and others are giving gifts to 107 foster children for Christmas.

Gifts were being unloaded from several trucks at the Social & Health Services Department in Richland early this morning.

These gifts include dozens bicycles, donated from the pipefitters' Bikes for Tikes program.

Volunteers also carried in large bags with several different wrapped presents for each foster child.

More than a dozen affiliates and contracters around the Tri-Cities are participating in this year's gift donations.
